Author Guidelines

Please read these instructions before submitting your new manuscript for publication to the journal.

Antarvidya Research Journal is an international open-access double-blind peer-reviewed journal with a wide scope in the fields of Literature, Linguistics and other fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. Antarvidya Journal invites authors or researchers to submit their original and unpublished work (short papers, research papers, review papers, Argumentative papers, Analytical papers, Definition papers, Compare and contrast papers, Cause and effect papers, Report or Interpretive papers and Project work-based papers) that communicates fundamental issues about the current research.

All submissions to Antarvidya must be made electronically via the online submission and peer review system at the following URL submit-paper (files should be in one of the following formats: doc/ docx and pdf. If you have any difficulty with online submission, please write to the editorial office – publication@debracollege.ac.in

Before submitting a manuscript to Antarvidya Journal, the authors should note the following points carefully:

  1. One author of the manuscript should be designated as the corresponding author with his email address and postal details.
  2. The manuscript may have the following sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, and References.
  3. All references must be cited in the manuscript carefully and properly.
  4. The manuscript has not been previously published in a magazine, a book, a journal, a conference proceeding, or any other form of publication.
  5. The manuscript must be submitted in the languages; this journal follows Bengali and English. The manuscript submitted in any other language would not be considered for publication in the journal. Authors are requested to use Unicode fonts.
  6. At the same time, the manuscript should not be submitted to any other journal for publication.
  7. The manuscripts submitted to the journal should be based on original work only with no plagiarism.
  8. All authors of the manuscript should be agreed on the publication of the manuscript and there should not be any dispute about the proposed content or material introduced in the manuscript with any person and among the authors.
  9. The submitted research manuscript should not harm any other researcher, person or society.
  10. The Editors and Reviewers of the Journal are fully authorized to give the rejection, modification, or acceptance of the manuscript to the author based on the quality of the research manuscript or proposed work.
  11. After the acceptance of the manuscript, all authors must submit the copyright.
  12. After the online publication, the authors will keep all the relevant data presented in the manuscript with him/her for any future claim or dispute with any other person.

References

Citations in the text

Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Avoid citation in the abstract. Unpublished results and personal communications should not be in the reference list, but may be mentioned in the text Citation of a reference as “in press’ implies that the item has been accepted for publication.

Reference List

References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters,”b”, “e”, etc, placed after the year of publication.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting the manuscript, the author(s) should check the following list.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word file/ PDF format.
  3. The manuscript has been made in the light of the Journal’s author guidelines.
  4. Author(s) did not mention his or her name and affiliation in the main text but only on the title page.
  5. The author (s) has read all the terms and conditions of the journal.
  6. Authors may prepare a list of three reviewers with Institute name and designation, full address, contact number, and email and submit separately with the manuscript.

Copyrights for articles published in Antarvidya are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author’s responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.

Manuscript Preparation: Instruction to the Author

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically as an attachment in MS Word and PDF Version through e-mail to the chief editor at (antarvidya@gmail.com/ )

Language

The language of the manuscript must be in Bengali, and English according to the subject areas.

Type and Length of paper.

Articles that exceed the word limit will be considered; Manuscripts must be typed in Unicode font. Original papers, review papers, conceptual frameworks, analytical and simulation models, case studies, empirical research, technical notes, and book reviews will be considered for publication. An article would normally consist of 8-10 pages with about 4000 words (excluding figures, tables, and references), “although high-quality”

Title Page

The title page is a separate page before the text. It should include the following information:

Title

The title should be concise and informative. Try to avoid abbreviations

Author’s names and affiliations

Please indicate the given name and family name. Present the authors’ affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author’s name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation. Including the country name, and, if available, the e-mail address, and telephone number of each author.

Corresponding author

Indicate who is willing to handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing, publication, and also post-publication. Ensure that telephone numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address.

Abstract

A concise abstract is required with a maximum length of 200-250 words. The abstract should state briefly the

Purpose of the research, the principal results obtained, and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. References should therefore be avoided, but if essential, they must be cited in full, without reference to the reference list.

Keywords

Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 8 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, ‘and’, ‘of”).

Subdivision of the article

Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Sections should be numbered 1, 2. Etc. The abstract Is not included in the section numbering.

Main Body or text can be subdivided into headings and subheadings (subsections). Subsections should be numbered.

As 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, etc.)

Table and Figures

Present tables and figures in appropriate positions in the text. Captions should be placed at the bottom of the table! Figure. Number the captions as 1., 2., 3. Etc. Please note that the article will be published in black and white.
